Introducing Christina Heydorn. I'm pretty sure our conversations about style and shopping came down to one bold statement: "If I can't wear it to work, I really don't see the need in buying it." Aside from being my most wonderful sister-in-law, Christina works in the corporate world as an Urban Planner. Though she calls Port Credit, Ontario home, this mom of two has already made a few lunches, completed a daycare drop off and caught the first train into the city by 7:30 am. When it comes to her style, she looks for pieces that can multi-task as much as she can. Button up shirts and black dress pants are a staple in her work wardrobe. We were happy to share one of our favourite button up, machine washable, cotton linen dress shirts from Velvet called the Matea. We appreciate the slight neutral colour (lilac) that transitions easy into the work place while letting her keep things casual for a Saturday trip to the Port Credit Farmers Market. Don't worry - we didn't forget about date night. She can step out in her favourite heels and add a little bit of arm candy (ahem we were talking about the Mara Bracelet) and she is all set to hit up her favourite night out spot in downtown Port Credit - The Pump.
Christina's beauty routine needs to be streamlined, yet has enough 'umph' to carry her through the work day. She is slowly (like VERY SLOWLY) starting to swap over her cosmetics to a line free of Parabens and Fragrance and is wearing Tint Skin in Linen, Under Eye Concealer Pen in Light, Nectar Blush, Lengthening Mascara, Highlighter in Halo, and the Peppermint Lip Conditioner(she doesn't like to wear lipstick that often).
