After spending a few years living the best life in California, I am still drawn to that effortless, bohemian, urban chic kind of style. It’s comfortable. Think worn in, loose, flowy and tailored in all the right places.
Peasant style tops and distressed denim happen to be one of my favourite pairings for Fall. It’s still a bit too early to hide under our favourite cozy sweaters, and to be entirely honest - the Canadian landscape digs rich autumn colours like burnt orange, dark plum, army green, camo and everything in between.
I’m twinning today with my ‘Mini Me’ - her outfit was a set I bid on from our recent auction with our pals over at Little White Sneakers. She was pretty happy to have more holes in her denim than I had in mine. It’s an easy outfit, and completely post partum friendly with the high waisted 9” denim, a loose and flowy floral top with buttons and a fun pair of playground kicks (these ones are glittered from J Crew).
While I am back to my pre baby shape, my clothes never fit the same. My love for the perfect oxford button up tops that I have in multiple styles always seem to be a little snug in the chest. It’s beyond annoying. The Peasant style top became my solution and also made the breastfeeding wardrobe a little more versatile.
Thankfully our super chic design pals over at Velvet thought the same and brought in a few of my favourite styles perfect for Fall.
